Do I need to replace my existing tools to use Litmas AI?
No. Litmas AI can work alongside your existing research and case management tools. Many customers continue to use platforms like Westlaw or Lexis for traditional research while using Litmas AI for motion drafting, evidence organization, and case-specific AI assistance.
What file formats does Litmas AI accept?
Supported formats include Word (.doc, .docx), PowerPoint (.ppt, .pptx), Excel (.xls, .xlsx), Text (.txt), HTML (.html, .htm), PDF (.pdf), and Images (.png, .jpg, .jpeg, .tiff). Upload limits are 3,000 pages and 500 MB per document.

Yes. Every new Litmas user receives a personalized onboarding session. The platform also includes built-in tutorials and guided demos for each major feature.

There is no strict limit on documents per case. Each case includes up to 5,000 pages. Additional pages beyond 5,000 are billed at $0.01 per page.
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes. Litmas AI subscriptions are flexible and can be canceled at any time. Your account remains active until the end of your current billing cycle. There are no long-term commitments required.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes. Litmas AI offers volume discounts for firms with multiple attorneys. Firms with five or more attorneys may qualify for discounted pricing. Please contact our team to discuss available pricing options.
Security & Privacy
Is my case data secure?
Yes. Data security and client confidentiality are foundational to Litmas AI. Your uploaded case documents and work product are protected with enterprise-grade encryption and access controls.
Does Litmas AI use my firm's data for training?
No. Your workspace data remains private and is never used to retrain AI models. Your case data is used solely to power your case analysis within Litmas AI.
Where is Litmas AI data stored?
All data is stored on secure U.S.-based servers with AES-256 encryption at rest.
Is Litmas AI compliant with SOC 2 or HIPAA?
SOC 2 and HIPAA certifications are in progress and expected by early 2026. Current systems already use enterprise-grade encryption and access controls.
Can I use Litmas AI for cases involving sensitive or confidential client information?
Yes. Your data is encrypted, isolated to your workspace, and never shared with other users or used for model training. We recommend reviewing our Privacy Policy for full details.
What happens to my data if I cancel my subscription?
Your data will remain available for a limited retention period so you can export any documents or case materials. After this period, all case data and uploaded documents are permanently deleted from our systems.
